Trump says Iran decision coming in two weeks
Judge orders release of Mahmoud Khalil
A federal judge on Friday ordered the release of pro-Palestinian activist and Columbia University graduate Mahmoud Khalil from an immigration detention center in Louisiana.
"I'm going to exercise the discretion that I have to order the release of the petitioner in this case," U.S. District Judge Michael Farbiaz said in a New Jersey courtroom.
Iranian missiles hit major IDF hospital
Hostilities between Iran and Israel continued on Thursday with Iranian missiles hitting the Soroka Medical Center in Israel's southern city of Beersheba. The facility is reportedly run by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
A number of residential buildings were also hit, according to the Associated Press, which reported that at least 240 Israelis have been injured so far.
Trump says Iran decision coming in two weeks
While the role of the United States in the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict remains uncertain, President Donald Trump is expected to announce his final decision within two weeks.
“Based on the fact that there is a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place in the near future, I will make my decision of whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a press briefing on Thursday while reading a statement from Trump.
