Trump says Iran and Israel agree to ‘complete and total’ ceasefire
United States President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that Iran and Israel have agreed to a 24-hour ceasefire on Monday. The agreement aims to end their two-week war.
“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED,” the post read.
Iran targets major US airbase in Qatar hours before ceasefire announcement
Over a dozen Iranian missiles were fired at a major United States air base in Qatar on Monday in retaliation for American strikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran over the weekend.
“The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has targeted the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with a devastating and powerful missile attack in Operation News of Victory,” the IRGC said in a statement Monday. “This base is the headquarters of the air force and the largest strategic asset of the United States terrorist army in the West Asia region.”
Iranian parliament votes to close Strait of Hormuz, threatening global oil trade
The limited attack on Al Udeid Air Base came as Iran’s parliament voted Saturday to close the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway between Iran, the UAE and Oman that carries about 20% of the world’s oil trade.
While further alienating Tehran, the move is widely seen as a strategic measure aimed at pressuring the United States and Israel. Analysts say it could spur Western nations to push both countries to make a deal with Iran in order to avoid a global economic crisis.

And Allah is not asked for anything - meaning - more beloved to Him, than being asked for Al-`Āfiyah.” And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The supplication benefits against that which strikes and that which does not strike, so hold fast, Oh worshippers of Allah, to supplication.”
