At least 101 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday and Thursday, the enclave’s Health Ministry said.

In Khan Younis, a strike hit a refugee camp sheltering displaced Palestinians while they were sleeping, according to the Associated Press. Thirteen members of a single family were reportedly killed, including several children.

Another airstrike hit a school in Gaza City, killing 15 people.

In addition, at least 51 Palestinians seeking aid were killed by Israeli gunfire—five near an aid distribution center operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) and the rest near aid trucks, the ministry said.

The GHF is a controversial, privately run organization backed by the United States and Israel but condemned by the United Nations.

The killings come amid a broader pattern of violence near GHF sites. More than 500 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid near the centers since May 27, according to Al Jazeera.

Amnesty International issued a statement Thursday condemning both the military campaign and the GHF, accusing Israel of using “starvation of civilians as a weapon of war,” and calling the ongoing assault a genocide.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry rejected the accusation, saying Amnesty has “joined forces with Hamas” and is repeating “propaganda lies.”
